We currently have a phone in a dark security room. Is there a way to have the display light up? Is there a phone that has this feature? We currently have a Inter-tel Axxess system. Thank you for your help.

Hey John.
I am never seen one with a DISPLAY that can illuminate. Your best bet would be to talk to someone in Sundance sales. If they exist, I am sure they would love to sell you one.

The 8690 has a backlit display.. it's damned expensive though!
I think it works with an Axxess if you have VoIP, but I'll admit I know very little about Inter-Tel systems.

The 8690 is the only Inter-Tel endpoint with a backlit display as mentioned. With the 5000 2.4, there is support for the Mitel endpoints, the 5340 has a backlit display; there is one other model but I cannot remember the number.

The 5330 will also have a backlit display as soon as current stock runs out.
