Just reinstalled an older 1U MAS and everything is working properly (including ACD) except MWI's. Im using IP5000 and IPT3008 phones.

Im using 1 LIPU and 1 MIPU. I have tried the voice mail ports on both IPU's

Any ideas?

Also, The screens on the phone are updating as well. So I get message info (1New/3Saved) on the displays but no light blinking.

I have verified that the SMDI_digit_length is 10 (per FYI website)

The xIPUs don't control the MW lights. That's between the processor and the MAS. I would check the Stratagy setup pages for the PBX and parameters to make sure that the IP address for the CIX,the port number (port 1000 by default), and the DHG pilot number are in there.

Everything is correct.

Hunt group pilot number
SMDI Port 1000 - and it is port 1000 in System>IO Devices
ip address for the CIX is corect in VM Parameters and VM Phone System

Not sure why the displays update the message count, but the MWI doesnt work.

Does the MAS use #63 and #64?

MAS uses SMDI.

What is the number of digits in your extension? Double check the notification templates.

Make sure the notification in the mailboxes is not disabled. I have seen this in one or two cases.

The extension length is probably not an issue. Unless the Node + extension is more then 7 digits. (if I remember correctly)
