hi. has anyone had any experience of remote connecting over an pstn modem and whats the extension # for the onboard modem.

I always connect to off site systems over the net. Get the public address for their network and plug the system into it. make sure that the ports 8000 and 80 are forwarded in their router. for remote programming.

OR simply do a remote session on one of their computers.

IP isn't an option here as systems away from any network/pc's. i will need to access the anolog modem , somehow??

There is no extension for the modem - you access it via an extension or a trunk that you would have pre-programmed to be directed to the modem access service code. Assuming this wasn't done in initial programming, you will need to go on-site & use telset programming or direct connect via IP with a laptop.

The remote modem ext number (service code) is in PRG 11.15.13. default is 740
