I would hate to downplay a vendor when we do not know the reasoning behind the thought process. Although 1 day may be aggressive we all know the beauty of Inter-tel is local mode programming. This appears to just be an upgrade in essence. So to bring out a completely pre-programmed system and use some tail adapters should not take much time. It all depends on the configuration.
Noisycow, there are many reasons to upgrade to a 5000 from an Axxess. Mostly because we know the Axxess is virtually discontinued. Improved DSP resources, built-in IP networking, new phones, adding SIP trunking and 3300 networking support. Another option would have been for the to look at the Axxess to 3300 migration promotion.

Well, the conversion went smoothly (in retrospect, I should have expected it as the vendor was very professional,) but it certainly did take more than a day. In fact 5 days later, and we're still finding little things that aren't quite right... Thanks, everyone, for your input.
