Hi

Have a customer with OS7030. System was plugged into normal ADSL circuit and we had port 5090TCP opened to the system LAN so remote was fine. Now we have changed the ADSL to a private SIP circuit for more efficient SIP working. No internet is allowed on the circuit. Is there any way I can get any kind of remote access to the system?

Thanks for your reply. I have set up many sites with dual WAN routers, and all work well with private SIP and an ADSL or other.
I need to prove you cannot do it with a private SIP circuit alone, so I need to make sure one of my "Know-alls" at work who thinks he can VPN onto the Samsung much like you can VPN into Yealink hosted IP phones. But I cannot believe he will be able to VPN onto the Samsung as he won't be able to get onto the necessary DM tool. Boss is trusting him and ignoring me as he thinks the "Draytek person" can achieve it.
The only way I could see that possibly happening is if you plug a PC into the Draytek at the Samsung site and try and "VPN" onto that but that means a new machine of course, not even sure if it would work though. I am hoping not!

Some voice only broadband will allow very slow breakout to the internet for phone updates etc which you could use for remote access but it may not be permitted. If its an assured product and data and sip are presented on different ports then you usually fit a dual wan router as you'll get no internet access via the sip port. Depends on the broadband provider really

If you had 2 network cards in the PC sat on both networks and used remote desktop that would also get you access but it will be a bit of a pain.
