I'm 71, not remembering this stuff any more. I have to set up a relay that normally outputs MOH over the speakers but needs to switch to paging when a contact is closed.
I know there is a jack for contact closure but that could also be used for a door, just can't remember how I can set up a relay so when paging is accessed I can close a relay and switch between MOH and paging output to the speakers.
With Nortel, I just used a Radio Shack relay and a 12VDC power supply with the Nortel paging contact closure and I still remember that but not the Partner.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Bracha

Paging port is modular. It is 8-pin, but a 4-pin "RJ-11" (yes, wrong terminology) plug fits in there.
Audio is on the center 2 conductors (Green and Red) The Normally Open contact closure is on the 2 conductors straddling the center pair (Black and Yellow)
You get a contact closure during the page, then it goes open again when the page is done.

Thank you again so much, I thought I remembered something like that on the Merlin but I'm just not doing much of this anymore. Almost everything is VOIP now.
Thanks, Bracha
