Reviewing others posts comments/answers, read that "Axxess functionally dead" or words to that effect.
Is this true? I have two Axxess systems, one our Hub/Core device.
Any ideas as to how long Axxess to be supported?
TIA

Axxess has been and will continue to be a very functional and flexible system. As technology has changed into a more Voip driven environment the older cabinet digital based systems appear to be fading away. So the answer is that yes the Axxess will not receive much development in the future but has yet to be officially discontinued and when that does occur Inter-tel/Mitel still has to support the product for 7 years. The core functionality of the product though is almost the same in their 5000 product line.

I think that unless Mitel has changed the life cycle that Inter-Tel has used for a LONG time they will support a system for 10 years from the date of discontinuance. But, the Axxess just came out in version 10. So they are still working on it.

Inter-tel is actually still manufacturing the 4000 series phones, but they are almost to the end of the production run. Yes, they just came out with v.11 and this will allow the Mitel phones to work on the Axxess. I am sure they will continue to support this platform for at least 7 years.

Mitel IP phones only work on the latest release of the Inter-Tel 5000 (now the Mitel 5000).
Sample of new dealer list price increases- effective in Oct.
Axxess KSU- was $XXX now $XXX 9 amp- was $XXX now $XXXX T-1/E-1- was $XXXX now $XXXX DKSC-16+- was $XXX now $XXXX DKSC-8- was $XXX now $XXX CPC- was $XXXX now $XXXX LSC- was $XXXX now $XXXX SLC-8 was $XXXX now $XXXX SLC-16 was $XXXX now $XXXX
Digital Packages up 15-30%
Definitely trying to phase out the Axxess even though they will support it for 7 years.
Edited to remove prices :nono:
