Have a IPK system with CPU version 1.71, & can't get the Caller ID to display. The card is COID 4 & displays on another IPKII system. Card is assigned as COID in Card Interface Slot Assignment. However, when I try to see data on Caller ID Display Assignment for System Mode 1.1.78 or Caller ID Display Assignment for CO/PBX Line 3.44 it doesn't recognize these fields. Does the ver 1.71 support Caller ID or is there some other field to be enabled?

Release 1700: With R1700 or higher , the following Memory Blocks are not needed for assigning the Caller ID or ANI features and have been removed:
1-1-78 Caller ID Display Assignment for System Mode
3-44 Caller ID Display Assignment for CO/PBX Line
4-49 Caller ID Display for CAR Key Assignmen 16 stations could display Caller ID or ANI information during an incoming day or night ring assigned call. The call has to be set for ringing.

So if these Memory blocks are not accessible, those the system support Caller ID? My lines are set for immediate ring for day & night and still don't get ANI.

It's probably the last software release before CID was added.

You need COIB trunk cards assign in COID mode If you need caller ID scrolling a MIFM with a KMM chip or SPE card will be needed or
