I have a customer that wants to use external call forwarding on there Aspire M- They currently have Copper POTS LINES so you can hear the call being dialed out I have tested this with fios lines and you can not hear the call being dialed out
I am wondering if this is a software or programming issue or is it because of the Fios versus Copper lines
any thought would be greatly appreciated

I know this is an OLD post -- I was looking for a different fading issue... but if when a call comes in on line 1 and the aspire forwards it out on line 2 or 3 or 4 or what have you and the caller can hear line 2 dialing I would suspect it is cross talk on the lines.
1] You could test by making a call on line XXX then take your butt set on line YYY and press the DTMF keys - Can you hear it?
2] Possibly the CO card could be failing and it has cross talk?
3] I do this all the time over a PRI on several aspires and it is stone quiet when it calls
4] Programming I know there are several timers for how long the fwd'd call or how long a DISA call can be active until you hear a disconnect warning tone and then the timer will drop the call
