Intertel system rebooted, and now none of our internal phones ring. We can call out and can IC to each extension, just when someone calls in the phone continues to ring for the caller, but no internal phones ring, and no voice mail.

The Call Routing looks like it always has, any ideas, or am I overlooking something.

Hi Russ, welcome to the board.

When you say the system rebooted, do you mean you lost power or you initiated a major reset? Was this due to a power surge or any other potentially damaging event?

I'm wondering if data was lost or we have damaged hardware. You said the "Call Routing" looked as it always did. I'm assuming you're referring to a Call Routing Table. Though the table looks the same, you should go and look to see that the trunks are assigned to ring into that particular CRT.

We have been experiencing similar issues but instead of the phone continually ringing the caller hears silence. We have automated attendant so it seemed that the vm system, hard drive etc could be going out, but after reviewing the logs the phone system has had major reboots multiple times. Now it is minor resets because of card 8 (which is our T1 card).

Backing up we use inter-tel axcess v9 pbx system. Any ideas on why I am getting these errors?

We had exactly the same thing, Russ. Our problem started after a lightening hit to the system.
Your problem may be damaged ports on your cards. We lost most of the cards in our cabinet.
Even though other extensions on the card were fine, random ones would do exactly what you are discribing. The phone looked fine, the user could call out, and others could make IC calls, but no call would ring in from the outside.
If you have a spare DKSC 16 card you know is good, try swapping it out with the one that the bad extension is on and see if that works.
