i am working on an sts system and want offhook to go to the pool for a line. im using port 148. in sta prog i went offhook pref and entered entered 20,1. that seemed to be what the manual said. i still get icm on offhook. what did i miss. thanks dave

You have to enable off hook preference, assign the button that is going to be used (treat it like it is a multi button phone) and then assign pool to the button you choose..I always use button 1.
To assign an Off-Hook Preference function for an SLT: use flash 50/51, extension number, page b button 10 dial 011 hold, then press flex button 11 and use the following:
To assign a CO Line Group access function: Enter: [01], [3], [GG], [HOLD] GG = Line Group Number (00-23)

Don't forget that you have to change the station type from SLT to keyset in flash 50/51, page B, button 1 in order for the above programming to work. Once I do this, the default pool button on a keyset is already there on button 20, so using button 10 on page B, I just enter 201 and I'm done.
