Need advice for Connecting a Viking E-30 Door Phone and a gate module to a ESI 50. I am reading the "Quick Instructions" of the E-30 and they are saying to connect a trunk to the system for it's dialing purposes. And I am pretty sure that the gate module uses a trunk as well.
Has anybody ever connected either of these two to a 50 and how did it work.
The door phone is a two call box and needs to ring every phone as an alert. No door strike. There is an existing door module there but old and falling apart. the gate module is existing. Any advice?

Treat it as an analog single line phone. Program the ESI accordingly. The e30 will be an extension on the system.

Connect the E30 to a single line port. Then program a department in the ESI to ring the stations you want to ring when the E30 call button is pressed. Program the department number into the E30.
