How do I change it so all stations ring through to VM, currently when our operator transfers a call during day mode it rings back to her. We want it to ring 8 times and then through to that extensions voicemail every time.

New to the CIX670, Installer is not answering calls or returning E-mails.

It could be as easy as changing the System call forward template in each extension to template 1, but the answer may not be so easy. This is making an assumption that your installer already setup System call forward template 1 to forward no answer to voicemail, even though none of your extensions are currently forwarding to voicemail.

Also, the 8 rings per extension may an issue. There is a master timer for all call forwarding. By default this is set to 20 seconds. This can be modified but it will effect all call forwarding in the system.

And also because by default the transfer recall timer (the time that recalls back to the reception) is set for 32 seconds (about 8 rings). The call forward timer would have to be less then 32 seconds or the xfer recall timer would have to be increased for each extension.

Newtecky! Thank you, it indeed was a timer conflict on our Operator's station. You are the man. smile
