Anyone else having trouble printing 28/18btn Desi's lately? We have 4 printers that all of the sudden cannot run them without the backer sheets and even then we ruin at least 2 out of 5 sheets.
It appears that the perforation is too much and even just taking them out of the packaging causes the labels to separate from the sheets. Desi said no one else is complaining.

I had all sorts of problems with the last batch of desis for the ESI 30 Key Phone!

I could only get one of the two desis on each page to print properly.

We know it's Desi that changed something. One of our printers we've been using for years ran flawlessly until a few months ago.
It's beginning to get expensive to print when it takes 7-10 to get 5 good labels run.

I am using a different printer so i just assumed they were not compatible. I wonder if we should contact them too.

I just got word back from another dealer who said they have the same problem. They use the backers as well but you shouldn't have to, they are only supposed to be used for printers that have the optic eye to detect paper jams.
Seriously... it's pointless to have to run a backer with each label, #1- it takes more time especially if you have to print a lot of labels, #2 they aren't free, just fix the problem and they won't be needed.
We even went out and bought a new printer just for Desi's and it eats them even more.

We've had pretty good luck running them thru the manual feed tray. I can safely put a stack of 10 or 15 labels thru and lose only one or two in rare cases.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

We gave up printing these years ago.
Too hard to line up, every packet was different.

We can't even get Falcon labels let alone handsets anymore.

We usaully buy the cheapest HP deskjets from wallmart to print Falcon desi's. Works great for us, and when the printer fails. We throw it away and buy a new one. Haven't had any desi issues in a while.
