Can you put a PRI (RPTU) in any version of this system? Is there a certain software release? Looks like it has to be in slot 108? Presently there is a station card there ...PDKU2. How much of a hassle is it to rearrange everything?

The PRI card can only fit into an odd number slot so Base Cab 3,5,7 Exp Cab 1,3,5
(it only fits into 16 port slots and takes up 2 slots)

The only exception is on the CTX100/CIX100 where it can fit into slot 3 and you can use slot 4 as a 8 port slot otherwise slot 5 and 7 in the expansion using both slots again.

The PRI must be in an odd-numbered slot so slot 108 will not work. If there are more than 16 b-channels on the PRI then it will take more than one slot. Let me advise you that programming a DK for PRI is not easy at all if this is your first time doing it.

Here is the configuration: First slot 101 is empty. 102-PDKU2, 103-PDKU2, 104 PDKU2, 103-RDSU1, 105-RCOU, 106-RCOU, 107 BDKU1, 108-PDKU2. I have worked on a lot of Toshiba, but all analog trunks. I appreciate all of the input. I have worked on mostly DK14s and CTX systems and even older models. This is the first DK424i. And believe it or not...Michigan is scarce on toshiba techs when it comes to the older systems.

Can you remove the analog lines in slots 105 and 106? If you move a PDKU to slot 101 then you would change all the port numbers for all the extensions.

Yes I can. Thank you. Was reading the System record sheets and it looked like you could only put it in slot 108.
