How can I set up all the lines coming in to IP Office 9 basic to ring 5 times then go to voicemail on extension 10 without any auto-attendant?
In other words, How do yo get IPOffice to act like an answering machine?

There is no setting for line ownership in basic edition. I don't see any way to control the number of times a line will ring before doing something else, except to enable auto attendant under "Trunks - Advanced Setup". I am going to the site now to play with the auto attendant. I looked at "Group Management" but didn't see anything there that would help. I have done Google searches and have an Avaya SSO partner login, but have not found anything useful. Any suggestions?

Go to Trunks, under Analog Trunk Setup you'll see a dropdown for Coverage Destination - set it to the extension number of the mailbox you want to answer. ![[Linked Image from touchtonetommy.com]](https://www.touchtonetommy.com/images/Trunks.jpg)
