I have several users setup working fine. However, when a new employee replaces someone that quit and I try to set them up using the soft phone on the old employee's laptop, it crashes the first time they use it. Then it is mostly fine.

This software has been really finicky in the past and it has to be installed a certain way for it to work. In the past, I would right click the EXE and install as admin and that would fix it. However, that isn’t happening here. I also checked the option to install only for IT(which is the administrator account) and this worked in the past but isn’t working here. I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling the software after I created a new user profile. That didn’t work.

I have also white listed the application in the firewall and Webroot.

I have checked multiple logs bug can’t find anything helpful. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Here is more log information. You can see every entry here from the start to the crash but the crash doesn’t appear to be logged.

You should uninstall, install Intel IPP and reinstall SoftIPT. You can truy to install the Toshiba TSP 64 bits too.

Nice call MarcO Qc! Research on the web and my computer experience confirms your on target and shows you have a good grasp of the issue. Is my assumption correct that it would be best to install the Intel IPP using an admin account?
