Greetings,
We swapped out Nortel sets on an IP office v500 9.1 for 1416 digital sets. We programmed Abb. Dial keys on the phones. We are getting complaints that occasionally when they hit an Abb. Dial key the call doesnt go out. They have line appearances on the sets and say not all lines are in use the abb keys are set to dial 9 and number. The line they see selected is a valid working line. The only thing I can think of is shortly after the original install we had to really extend the length of the DTMF tones on the analog copper trunks so they could communicate with an IVR system they dial into.
Sorry for the long post. Thoughts? Thanks

Update. When we programmed the 1416's we programmed that when they picked up they were on I/C and would dial 9 to dial out. The abb keys were set 9 plus number. You guessed it the user in question was hitting a line key and then the ABB. key. Little training problem solved.
