Hi, all,

This is my first post, but I've been a lurker for awhile and found some very helpful information along the way.

I'm stumped- this should be a simple arrangement, but for some reason I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong:

Axxess 10.003

All calls to ext 1600 should fwd immediately to hg 2040. Outside calls appear to be doing exactly this. IC calls, however, ring at 1600 indefinitely without forwarding to 2040- I hung up @ 20 ic rings and it still hadn't fwd'd.

This fwdg path (#24) is setup under x1600's forwarding path. Fwd Call Type - IC Calls is set to YES, as is Station-Immediate.

Why are outside calls making it to the hg, but IC calls not?

Thank you for any and all suggestions.

first i would check that the outside number that people are calling is definately pointed to 1600
if it is then i am as confused as you

if it isnt that would make sense and you should just need to type the system fwd on/off feature code into ext 1600 or see what it is set to in programming if not a physical ext.

Thank you for the reply.
All calls from the outside to our 1600 did are routing to the hg2040 as desired. Here is how:

Via call routing table 1, did calls to 1600 hit STAR 2518 which routes to CRA 2513 during business hours. 2513 is set to timeout to hg2040.

So, outside calls work fine.
IC calls do not.

I am presuming you have a system fwd path set on Ext1600 to 2518

check the system fwd path is ticked for ic calls at the bottom

1600 was originally set to fwd to hg2040, and yes the IC CALLS option was checked in the fwd path options.
I changed the fwd path to go to star2518 instead after your reply and still net the same results: an IC call that rings only at 1600, not the hg.
Still puzzled...
