I am trying to install an additional esib8-20. The card works in the original card slot (2) when trying to add it to any other slot it will not let me save, it shows err. We are saving it as the same type (esi16) that works in slot one. Any ideas? Thanks, Scott

First off, if you're adding a 8 port card but installing as a 16 port card...that could be an issue. Next, check how many CAR key ports are open as well as add up the ports you have cards installed for.

Sorry, the card we are adding is the same as the original. It is a esib8-20 and esie8-20 card. So I believe the system is at capacity or at least doesn't have 16 ports available. I will have to see what CAR key ports are. Thanks

Any CAR not in use can be deleted to free up the port count.
