Hey all
I'm helping out a non profit as they move and expand their system. They aren't happy with their dealer and can't pay their price. I'm working cheap to help them out. I've bought some used stuff for them, and ready to start setting up a temp or replacement system at the new location until they move in.

I have PCPro 9.55. I am connecting remotely to their system and get the error above. Not sure of the firmware version yet as I haven't connected yet, it's a couple years old. Do I need a newer version?

What are ports 8000 and 8001?

Thanks!

I would verify what system they have. New versions of PCPRO will usually look back fine unless it's something weird or corrupt. First try a local machine to get the backup, but that error is usually a version/wrong system database issue. The fact you are connecting means the ports must be right.

Thanks
So 9.55 should look forward too? That is if the firmware is newer than 9.55?

I will have to try webpro on site in a bit.

9.55 should be fine unless they are running something later than that. I mean it's possible but I haven't seen it.

Would anyone out there have a copy of 10? Hard for me to get right away on a weekend.

I still have this problem, two computers, tried a few SV8100s, I know they are 9.50 and lower. Have reinstalled, same thing. Seems like typical flaky software. Any ideas?

What OS are you using? I've never had any issues.

Two XP machines and one 7. Just ran the .MSI installer on all. Tried 9.51 and 9.55. Even downloaded again from another site to try. Seems like there needs I be maybe a database installed?
