Hi All - I have a customer with an ECS V8, that has had a couple of "Major Alarm 5" incidents. The ECS just reboots and seems to be okay for another few months. Is this just a PITA kind of alarm, or should I be thinking about replacing the CCU? The manual says it is a "Phase Reset Error". I have NO idea what that might mean. Is there something I can do to help avoid these alarms? Any input is appreciated!

Unless the system crashes and burns, just have the attendant dial FEAT, #, 7 when it happens and keep on keepin' on. Or, tell the system in programming not to send any alarms to the attendant.
I've seen major alarms occur when SMDR feeds get goofed up. Check that any CTI or other add-on integration programs are functioning correctly.
Replacing the CCU is a last resort thing, only if it starts happening with more frequency.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
