Anyone know how to change the ring tone for secondary extensions? They come in from a hunt group to the secondary extension (set up as phantom devices) as members, but the tone is god-awful. One could argue that having an ear splitting tone would encourage them to pick up the phones faster, but they didn’t like that line of reasoning. I attempted to use Remote Feature Access and SPCL 398 to change the tone, but it wasn’t supported.
These phones are setup in the one-secondary-extension to many-endpoints deal that I have seen a few times in perusing the forum, but none of them discussed the banshee wail ringtone that is default.
Oh, it's an Intertel-5000, by the way.

You cannot change the ring tone for a secondary extension.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.

Curses, that thing is what I imagine the death rattle of my first-born would sound like. Well, thanks for the quick reply!
