It's going to be clear to you as you read this that im a total noob regarding intertel Axxess phone system. I have an issue where my Tech's are calling a certain phone number and it should be routed to our service department Key set group. that isnt happening. How can i figure out where and how this phone number comes into my system and how it is routed. Dont have a clue here. I use the InterTel session manager software dbstudio 1.51 and interl is version 8.100. Any help would be appreciated.

System\Trunk-Related Information\Call routing tables will show you how incoming calls are routed. You may have a Day and Night version. The number may be routed to an endpoint (station) or Hunt group which can be found in System\Devices and Feature Codes\(Hunt Groups and Stations are found here). It may be sent to an Application which is found in Voice Processor\Devices\Applications.

all i see in the Call Routing Tables is 15 entries numbered 1 trough 15 with a blue arrow symbol. when i select one of them no data shows up on the right pane. They seem not to be configured.

Do you have loop start lines? If so, check the day and night ring in destinations for the trunk group(s). These are under SYSTEM->DEVICES AND FEATURE CODES->CO TRUNK GROUPS.

Open 92004. On the right hand side you'll see Day and Night Ring-In Destinations. This is where the call is going first. There may be additional routes behind this one... it really depends what you see there. You can double-click these entries to follow them as the call would.

The only thing i see differently wiht the two Hunt groups. the one that doesnt work has Key sets in them. THe Hunt group that works has just extensions in it.
