Has anyone setup a lab network using two routers for testing ip phones? Trying to test remote functions before install.

I remember doing this in the esi training class but don't remember exactly how we did it.

There isn't too much to it with newer IP Phones. All you need is port forwarding on the KSU side - nothing is needed on the remote side.

Thanks John, Do you remember how the two routers are connected on the bench to try to create/mock a remote enviroment?

I'm trying to set this up in the shop and have the ip phone seen as a remote instead of coming up as a local. Thanks for your help.
