Attempting to install a kcdu in a Dk40i that I have worked on before. I go to ext. 10 and attempt to put in the password for programming but it is not recognizing the *. Other extensions are not allowing the * either. In the past I could get into programming from any extension. Probably something simple but I'm stumped.

Make sure that phone has a speed dial key programmed on it

Figured it out. I was pressing the intercom button before entering password. Don't know why I was doing that.
