Hey gang,
I need the message button code (NOT the MWI -623)for the 3012 phones..
It's like the fixed msg button on the 9017's that can be used to "message" another extension who doesn't answer or busy...that's what I need it for.(Granted it's dual feature on 9017's as MWI and messaging other extensions)
I found it a while back online on xts code listing but can't find it now...it's obscure and rarely used hence the difficulty finding it...

Not sure why it didn't work at first....found 8-button manual (3012-71) and indeed it stated 623 ...and this time it worked...go figure...mods>please delete this boring post
