I have a network ACD customer running ACD on a 2U MASR3 RAID 5. One of the hard drives failed yesterday and I am not getting a very quick or warm fuzzy response from tech support. I know the drives are a 73 gigabyte SAS hard drive but what I don;t know is this:
1. Is it 10K or 15K for speed? 2. Can they get any brand hard drive that is the same? 3. Is it hot swappable? 4. Will the replacement hard drive start being rebuilt once put in?
Any help would be appreciated.

Look up raid man/model and see if its hot swap-able and look up drive model number and buy the same one. Should be able to see in device manager

They pulled the bad drive and got a replacement - popped it in and it worked like a charm!
