Is there any way to 'blank' a single User Programmed Key without defauting the whole thing? A user has his set up the way he wants them, except for one single key, and would rather not default and have to do all of them over. I've tried just backspacing out the entry, was treated as 'no change' and 'no update performed'. TIA

If the key is a programmable key then the user can do ∞397 and then hit the desired key and program it for what they want. If it's not programmable then you can go into the user's keymap and program the programmable keys on a per key basis. If you need directions for that part please let me know.

Got all of that, but 397 does not allow 'blanking', at least not the way I'm doing it.
If I 'backout'/delete what is there, it says 'No Update' and puts back the info we want to clear.
He is resisting, strongly, the Default All option.

Would it hurt to make it something simple like another VM button?
It shouldn't ever light up or flash, and if accidentally pressed it wouldn't be the end of the world either.

Carmac, you can make that change in db programming.
System\Devices & Feature Codes\Stations\(Ext#)\Programmable keys.
Just set the key back to 'Undefined' there and you'll be golden.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.

D'oh, or Duh, or whatever it is now.
I just love it when I miss the almost obvious.
Thanks.
