Hi, all! Does anyone know if you can use the latest models of ShoreTel phones with the TalkSwitch CVA48 VOIP system? And, does anyone have any real-world experience with TalkSwitch & Centerpoint? I'm interested in how their support is, considering they're based in Canada.

Hi,

I work for Talkswitch. So perhaps a bit biased but,

Depends on the model of ShoreTel phone I would be able to tell you how they work with Talkswitch. Generally speaking Talkswitch is a fully analog system and will work with any analog phone.

As for support... Just cause we are in Canada, there isnt much difference... except temperature wink

I've been selling talkswitch for a number of years and it's great for small customers.
I only have a few customers who are using more than 2 boxes. Major draw back is that these small users are soooo used to a key system world it really takes some arm twisting to switch them to pbx which is how the system works with the slt's. I sell a tone of the 24s for home offices. For the money there is NOTHING better out there for this size range. Have not done any of the voips because my voip customers want other features as well that talkswitch doesn't do. The lack of multi-line appearence phones hurts. Small business like to answer calls live and when you put it up against panny or NEC in a more then 2-3 lines and 3-4 extension office customer goes with the later for the same money. There are a few neat features, like being able to do virtual extensions (follow-me forwarding) on a single CO that helps small users, but this is a nitch market.

Support from Talkswitch ROCKS.
