I am using embedded voicemail and I am forwarding extension 1300 to extension 5001. After the 5001 does not answer I want it to go to mbx 5001 but instead it is going to the VM main greeting. Any thoughts?

Did you set up your speed dial to have the proper ID and access codes for the VM?

When forwarding from a phone to VM, the best practice is to put an entry into the speed dials that has the proper ID codes and access string. When forwarding the phone to VM, you would CF Internal/External to the speed dial entry.

So in this case can you give me an example of what I would make my Speed dial look like?

Speed Dial Access Code, Bin Number and then the appropriate codes for station ID. They are in the manual.

What Manual? Are you not a certified Mitel Tech? The manual is on CD or can be located with a web search.

Any other specific information would be beyond the scope of this forum.
