I have a 4CFM adapter card that won't boot and while monitoring it in terminal mode when it boots is displaying "authentication error !" immediately after the serial number displays. It occurs even with several known working compact flash modules are installed on the adapter and have even tried installing it on several different VML cards with the same results ? any ideas ? thanks

Sometimes older ADIX system software versions would re-write the Class 1 config settings for voice mail ports- older as in version 6.1 to 6.2- and would re-write the ports as AA only, causing all sorts of wacky symptoms. If nothing works, and I'm guessing you've tried all these possibilities in the same cabinet slot, you may have a config issue or a bad card slot.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

I had to go to the manufacturers'(Carolina Digital) product authentication website and enter the serial number of the system to get an authorization code for the system to boot up. Thanks for your help JBEAN3329.
