200 ICP with PRI. I am trying to forward a 5212 superset to an external number. I have checked my COS and system settings for both phone and PRI. I set forward always to an abbreviated dial number. the caller hears ring no answer and the superset sits idle. I am able to answer and transfer external. When I monitor SMDR I see the incoming call but not the outgoing call. I have the same problem at 2 different sites.

Is this the first extension you're trying to forward off site or are there others that were setup previously? Are you able to forward a call to a cell phone using a standard transfer?

A couple of things come to mind. First, if you pick up any phone and dial the speed dial access and that particular speed dial entry, does the call complete? Don't dial the 10 digit number, dial the speed dial location.
Second, check to make sure your call forward has a * after the speed dial entry, indicating the phone is, indeed, forwarded.

Yes, this is the first extension to forward off-site. The problem only occurs when I dial the DID number for the extension (4127) If I dial the main number and the front desk transfers me to 4127 then the call will successfully transfer off-site.

Yes, the speed dial entry (553) works to just dial from the extension. The display does show a * after the destination. The forward will work if the call is answered at the front desk and then transferred to the extension. I can answer the DID to the extension and manually transfer off-site.
