Hi, We have a UCM 6510 and are running 40 2135's and 35 1628's. We have 2 VOIP trunks setup and working. We also have 2 POTS lines for fail over. My problem is that I have a few users that are complaining about a delay in the conversation when they use the new system. 1. So far they are people using 2135 models. 2. These calls are on the VOIP Trunks 3. Only 3 or 4 out of all the users are saying anything about the delay. 4. I have not noticed the delay on my calls from a 2135. 5. The phones are all setup with Model Templates to keep settings the same. 6. Extension to Extension calls are fine (no delay).
Looking for thoughts on what to adjust to make the delay better.
Thanks

By delay, do you mean a delay between dialing an outbound number and call connection?
Are callers pressing the SEND key after dialing, or just waiting for the call to complete?
VoIP trunks send the whole number dialed at once, so there is a time-out to be sure all digits have been dialed. Callers can either press the SEND key, or end their dial string with the # sign to speed things up a little.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
