I have a CTX100 system. Is it possible to setup a dialing format where the phone system automatically adds the local area code when I only dial 7 digits?

yes you can if you program up the LCR so make local 7 digit numbers go a different route plan and therefore a different route definition/modified digit table to add the local code automatically.

Yes, what Carlos says is true, but 2 things are required. First, you will need to dial 9 FOR LCR for each call Second, you need a moderate understanding on how to create a new LCR table.
