I've been changing the password on our IP phones. Changing it in System/Devices/Stations/{station}/IP Settings/Network Configuration does not appear to change it. I've had to change it on the authentication page of each individual endpoint's web interface. Is there an easier way?

Have you tried loading your phones with a config file via a TFTP server. That is the easiest way for a large deployment. You can update firmware this way and set all of your settings including changing the password.

SayWhat.... How do you load this info into the TFTP server? I have to configure 30+ 5330 Mitels on a 5200 this week. Are you saying their is a easier way then to programming each phone one at a time?

If you are using 5330 sets you will require 3.x on the Mitel 5000. This now has an embedded TFTP server to load configuration files to these phones. The help file is very informative on this process. Let me know if you have issues getting it to work.

I do it all the time well, for the last few months anyway, all we sell in IP packages are the 5330 and 52?? What I read into your post lead me to think I was making this a little more time consuming than it has to be. I set the system up in the shop program and put each phone on the system network, set the IP or DHCP and set the address for the 5200, TFTP server (same) and port for TFTP and boot the phone. This process thakes some time but don't want to be at a customers desk 5 minutes bringing the phone on line so we do it in house and take the system ready to run
do you have a better way?
