Depending what your doing?? Send the incoming co call to an analog port that rings to a viking unit that trips the relay for the gate. It can be done just depends what your working with on the gate end. If they are giving you a relay you just need to come up with a way to trip it.

It has a Panasonic KX-TDA5161 4-Port Doorphone/Door Opener Card (DPH4) installed. It is currently being used to open a electric gate. When visitors come to the gate and press the Viking intercom, anyone in the house that answers can open the gate by pressing 5. They can also open the gate by using the *5501 feature. The client would love to be able to open the gate from her cell phone. Any ideas ?

You might need to change your Entry unit to a Doorking 1812. Have a dialtone feeding in and out to Doorking. You can then program this unit to dial any phone number.

If they have a TVA voicemail that answers one of the lines you can use the Paging feature on a mailbox to dial the Open Door code *5501.
