Does anyone on this forum know how to flash the CPLD chip on a UNI card to update it from version 4 to version 5? I have had them upgraded before during field trials but do not have the procedure or the firmware files.

Do you have the buffered cable? That's going to be your first hurlde. They are somewhat hard to come by. At least they used to be.

Does it attach to the serial header near the front of the card? I have a 5 pin cable but it looks like the UNI card is a 10 pin serial header. I would also need the files and whatever software they use to burn it and its parameters (clock, etc).

Did you get the software to do this? I have a bunch of V4 UNI cards that I would like to get upgraded to V5.

Software isn't the problem, finding the buffered serial cable is with the correct pinout. Pm me, and we can work something out if you want them flashed.
