We just installed Panasonic NS500 and trying to print smdr via Hyper Terminal but it rejected.
DO WE NEED LICENSE FOR THIS ?if yes what is the item code

No licence. You have to have the correct sequence to logon.

You have to hit return
Then SMDR rerurn
It will ask for password. This is set in the system smdr settings


If you do it wrong it will lock you out for 10 minutes

Thanks for the reply dear
can we check this call logging in hyper terminal or need to use telnet as we have our own call logging program we need only raw data from PABX.

Hi,
i have the same problem but, the device rejects the connection while I'm using Putty for telnet or even HyperTerminal at the first step,
it wont allow me for further steps,
the tcp 2300 is closed on the device.
i'm using the ip of the NS500 web Management Console, is this right or show i define a new ip for this some where?

you do use the ip of the system. If you make a mistake on first connection the system will close the port for 10 minutes or restart the system
you have to do all the steps correctly first time

Please in future start a new post and not to use posts nearly a year old
