Hi All,

We have an OPTUS Multiline (PRI10/ISDN10) service

All calls from VODAFONE are being rejected by our system miraculously and this started in the middle of the day in the last 2-3 weeks.

The calls come through for a split second, then on the calling party simply say the "CALL FAILED" on the persons mobile phone.

This is what Optus has said below, but its makes no sense to us or even a third party Samsung installer I have checked with

Adrian (Based in Sydney Aus)

trace shows after received ACM (180 Ringing) from Optus network, Vodaphone released the call with cause "Interworking, unspecified"

Vodafone failing the call because the ACM 180 Ringing has Called party's Status Indicator = No indication (should be subscriber free).
.
This corresponding to the Q931 Call Processing message from CPE missing the Channel Identification parameters (CPE only send Progress Indicator).

Please advise customer to modify PABX ISDN setting Q931 Call Processing message to send Channel Identification parameters.

I've seen this on OPTUS SIP, never on a multiline.
It is a true multiline (ie comes in over a DSL line), or an evolve multiline (cisco router with an E1 card)?
There is a setting in the system todo with progress indication, can't remember what or where it is off the top of my head though.

Well miraculously after I screamed at Optus to escalate the issue to VODA its working again without any input. We have a RAD NTU connected. Couldn't find the progress indication settings anywhere...

What a surprise.
I remember arguing with an optus porting manager about dial tone on a multiline. Wasn't there when i did the port, but the next day it was there.
After i setup LCR on the customers DCS70 so they'd have dialtone
