Our company wants to change where calls get transferred to when the hold timer limit is reached. Right now they transfer directly to the operator's extension. They want the calls transferred to the main line/hunt group instead. Where can I find and change this setting on an InteTel Axxess 5.349 system?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's the same as the InterTel 5000. But it's under Voice Processor, Applications and hit the plus sign on that specific application you want to change and under Digit Translation, there should be a section for Timeout and it should say Transfer to Extension and put the 4 digit extension that is tied to that original auto attendant.

I hope that this helps. I have the DB Studio program here and I'm just learning all of this stuff. Hopefully, your system is similar. Thought I would help!

Are you talking about when a call is put on hold by a station. Can you please explain the call situation.

Calls placed on hold or transferred to hold will recall to whatever is programmed as the attendant under associated extensions for that phone after the hold and recall timer expires.

Each station has a Transfer Recall Station listed under Associated Extensions, which is listed first under each station. THAT is where a transferred call will go to after the timers expire. Instead of the attendant's extension, replace it with the Hunt Group number.

Go to System, Devices and Feature Codes, Stations, then find Associated Extensions under each station.

The transfer recall station is only for transferred calls hence transferred recall station. Held calls do not follow that programming. philodendrin is asking about held calls and they will go to the attendant and that is why the held calls are going to the operator because the operator's extension is the attendant.

I think I ran into the same customer today!! A customer ranted how much he disliked his 5000 system because he couldn't just hit the line key after a recall has started and pull the call from a different phone. If the call could go to a hunt group from the Hold Recall that would be great.
