From time to time I'll go into our 5.270 axxess db programming and the voice processing icon is missing out of the tree. I'll look at the system icon and the voice processing enabled choice is not set to yes. I am unable to either go to voiceprocessing programming or enter voice processing device extensions in other areas such as call routing tables. However, the AxxTalk apps still works as auto attendant and vmail. If I check the box to yes the system will restart and the icon choice is back in the tree when I log back in programming. Any ideas out there?

I remember having this problem years back. What OS is on your programming PC?

Try creating a new connection name it test and the customers name with all the info for the connection and try to log in. Can't say why but has always fixed it for me. It seems to appear after logging into a system that you have attaced to when the VM was down Hope this helps Randy

Agh I wish I could remember the solution to this. I had this happen once.
If you connect DBStudio with your EM server down, the voice processor option is gone. There is some trick to get it back when the EM is back online but I can't remember it now! Maybe a certain menu option or some file to delete in the DBStudio folder?
The sledgehammer approach might be to uninstall and re-install DBStudio.

I too am missing the voice processor tab from DB Studio. Does anyone have the easy answer for a novice like me?

Connect to the PBX. Click on System. Click on 'Voice Processor Enable'. You will be kicked out of programming. When you re-connect, you should see the Voice Processor icon.
