I have a user that when they set their phone for DND the alart volume is very load, how do I go about changing this volume to a lower level.

Is this an IP fone? If so an update of the fone's firmware should fix that.

No just a reg 550.4500 display phone.

You can use your volume up/down bar (just above SPCL/infinity key) to adjust the volume and then press the center of the key to save the volume level.
