We have an odd problem. The time on one of our 5200 switches is set to a NTP server and -6:00 Central time. It resets to -0:00 each day. Our NTP server is a local machine that runs the time for our entire network. This is the only machine with this issue.

Does message print read success or fail at 00:15 everyday?
Try pointing it to north-america.pool.ntp.org or ping that to get the IP and use that if you can't resolve DNS.
60% of the time it works every time

I had the same problem on two other systems and had to have Inter-tel dial into the system and fix. Here is a kb article from their website.
CAUSE: This issue occurs due to a corrupted symbolic link within the core OS of the 5000. This issue usually manifests after a single (though at times multiple) unexpected power loss(es) to the system.
RESOLUTION: Due to the corrupted file being part of the core OS, and hence inaccessible to end-users and field technicians alike, you must call into Technical Support to have this issue resolved. No reset is required (assuming NTP is setup correctly and no DNS server needs to be configured).
Please mention this KB article when you call in and have the following ready:
Remote access available (either publicly available IP address, or the ability to participate in a remote help session). Set Enable NTP to No. Set the Enable Daylight Saving Time flag and Time zone to their preferred values.
