I have an install where there is a phone placed on a loud factory floor. They would like a bell or buzzer to go off when the station receives an internal call. I have tried a couple that would work on regular POTS lines, but have not been able to figure it out for VOIP lines with these iDCS keysets. The company is running a Officeserv OS7400.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Do you have any sli ports? You could do a station pair. Not recommended but I connected a self amplified speaker to the handsets internal speaker connection. Not pretty but it worked.

I don't know if I would want to do it, but I could probably pop a phone open and add a lead to an external powered speaker. The phone is not set to auto-pickup on station page. I would have to remove the speaker button from the keyset to avoid feedback.

If you do open a phone up I would make sure it's out of warranty as that will void any warranty.
