Will someone please remind me what symptoms are caused by a dead lithium (?) battery (not the 9V one) in a Harris model TS-22 test set? ISTR that the lithium battery going dead will do something bad, but I can't remember what it is. My test set works fine (speakerphone, dial, listen) except that there is no voice transmit. Thank you in advance.

An old forum post #475614 addresses the issue plus has a pdf further in the replies. Good Luck,

I have no idea how the hell to search for that post.
In my experience it just won't work anymore Arthur. I think you have other issues but if the battery is old or you left it with a dead 9v for a long time you should replace it.
