Hello,
I currently have a KXTA624 installed over 10 years ago. I am looking to replace the current cordless from the KX-TD7895 to whatever my best option would be. This system is set up in a home. I see the KX-TD7896 however can only find it refurbished. Is there something newer out that would work with this system?
Thank You, Steve

Steve:
They have done away with both models, so refurbished is your only option. I found this out the hard way a year ago.

Meaning will I have to do any programming? I currently have the 7895 set up properly however the handset speaker died. Can I just remove the old base and plug the 7896 in? Thank You

Yes, both models just plug into a two-pair connection to the KSU.
