We just lost all voice capability on a 5200 using BVM. No audio on calls, no recorded messages, no application routing. The message print error reports "M6096 WRN EG CP Call Processing Timed Out Trying To Setup Call To ASAI Device". The description of this error notes the use of an external voicemail server. Which is not used on this system. We had to reboot the PBX to get it functioning again. Any ideas on the cause?

AVDAP logs should show something. Is the CF card nearing capacity?

Cause:
The ASAI peer device (either the Voice Processing Unit or the Database Programming PC) did not respond to a setup message sent by the CP software. This error may occur if someone calls the Voice Processing in the first thirty seconds that the connection between the Voice Processing and the System fails because thirty seconds must elapse before the System system detects the link outage. During those thirty seconds, the CP software attempts to send calls to the Voice Processing Unit, but the PC will not respond.
ACTION: If the problem occurs frequently, freeze the system history. Then use Database Programming to save the database and obtain the CP Error Information. These operations appear on the "Database Save and Restore" screen in the "Service" area. Contact Inter-Tel Field service with this information.
Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge.

This device does not have an external CP or VPU. That's why I don't understand the error. I have no way to see the state of the compact flash card. It shouldn't be anywhere near full. I only use it backups. Although, when I last tried to do backups, it was listed as not ready. I had someone onsite pull and reset it. It's working fine now. And that was two days after this error happened. I got the error from the log files. Should I be looking for something else?

SoCalJake, if you were asking about the voice processor capacity, it's listed at a capacity of 208 hours 29 minutes. 1 hour and 11 minutes have been used.
