What and how many functions does the DSP chip on the DKSC16+ card perform?

Speakerphone?
Caller ID?
DTMF?
Conference?

I'm most interested in if it is capable of performing conference functions.

No conference circuits are provided by the DKSC16+ with any system version or DKSC16+ Firmware. At least up to version 9. Depending on what combination of system version and firmware chip is on the DKSC16+, it can give you 16 Enhanced Speakerphones, 4 DTMF Receivers, 4 Caller ID Receivers, and with system Version 8.1+ you also get 4 Caller ID Transmitters.

version 9.x with copper ATM switch.

Does anyone know how many conference circuits you get outside of the OPC cards on a system?

I have an 8-cabinet system with 4 OPC cards all fully loaded - 1 OPC card per pair of cabinets.

24 conf circuits on the CPS
48 conf circuits on the ATM

Page 136 in the v9 Manual.

Why so many OPC cards? What are the DSP's configured for?

Ain't technology wonderful? Nothing like being on the bleeding edge. smile

All the OPCs are configured for conference - 16 per chip or a total of 64 for each card.

I have added 48 channels of auto call record bringing my total to 96. I've been told that each ACR session can use up to 3 conference circuits.

Thanks for the info!
