i have DVX IV with 4.16 trying down load with Windba for backup. I keeping error window Uknown database area type:81. the window not close . i will have task manager use stop it.

Are you able to download it using another communications program, such as HyperTerminal, E-Com or Procomm?

I think you have to have a Win dba that matches the firmware version of the system or you will get that error. In other words, Win dba for firmware 3.5 will not download 4.16. So make sure of that.
